About Us
Music, Friends, Family and Fun are what The Irish Minstrels Band is all about. This lively group has Matt Stier on the fiddle, Brenda Stier on the bodhran and whistle, Melissa (Stier) Schmidt on the mandolin and whistle, and Larry Schmidt on the guitar.
The Irish Minstrels love to entertain anywhere. They have performed at many functions, including large city festivals, local community gatherings, pubs, restaurants, coffeehouses, conventions, private parties, business, functions, casinos, county fairs, Irish Fairs, theaters, and university campuses. They have also performed at medieval Irish feasts, Scottish events, and old-time Rendezvous festivals, costumed in the authentic garb of the age. Whether the audience numbers in the thousands, or just a few people, this group is always the life of the party!
Audiences have numbered from over 10,000 to 5 people ... and it's fun every time.
